Deep-Fried Turkey new recipe

This Cajun cuisine is fantastic. The recipe for Turkey which has been deep-fried is extremely juicy within and crunchy on the outside (even the white meat). The heat is also expelled outside! You have a choice of using vegetable or peanut oil to deep-fry the turkey. A 26-quart aluminum saucepan with a drain basket is what we use.

Deep-Fried Turkey Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 gallons of peanut oil, or as needed, for frying
  • 1 entire (12-pound) turkey, with the neck and giblets, cut off.
  • 1/4 cup of Creole seasoning
  • white onion, 1

Procedure/Method/Direction

Carefully follow the steps given below

STEP1
  • Heat the oil to 400 degrees Fahrenheit in a sizable stockpot or turkey fryer (200 degrees C). Ensure that there is space for the turkey or the oil will spill. Food-safe paper bags are arranged in layers on a big dish.
STEP2
  • Wash the turkey, then dry it completely with paper towels. Apply Creole spice all over the turkey. To allow the oil to pass freely through the bird, ensure that the hole at the neck is at least 2 inches wide.
STEP3
  • In a drain basket, place the whole onion and the turkey. The neck end of the turkey should go in the basket first. Slowly drop the basket into the hot oil, covering the turkey fully. Cook the turkey for 45 minutes, or 3 1/2 minutes per pound, in oil heated to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
STEP4
  • Drain the turkey after carefully removing the basket from the oil. The internal temperature of the thigh should be 180 degrees Fahrenheit when a meat thermometer is inserted into its thickest region (80 degrees C). On the prepared platter, finish draining the turkey.
