- 1 sweet potato (1 pound) with skin
- 1⁄2 cup softened butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup milk
- two huge eggs
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

- 1 unbaked pie crust (9 inches)
Preparation
- Cover the whole sweet potato with water and bring it to a boil. Cook for 40 to 50 minutes, or until the potatoes are soft when probed with a fork.
- Preheat the oven to 350° F. (175 degrees C).
